The project consisted of costume design and costume production for the characters that starred in the advertising spot that was called “Don’t be afraid of the dark”.
In this spot the world of sub-cultures, the Japanese world and a transgressive narrative, were highlighted once again.
To communicate these concepts, we create a costume design with the intention to invent a new urban tribe, reminiscent of Samurai aesthetics.
We selected several materials mainly of a synthetic nature and we took references from science fiction cinema, Japanese fashion and urban art.
We designed the costumes and built them through experimentation. This allowed us to create unique figures and silhouettes.
